Akram pointed out that Pakistan's international cricket struggles stem from deficiencies in batting, bowling, and fielding, compounded by an unstable first-class domestic structure.

He attributed the current predicament to the inconsistent decision-making processes within the cricket board.

Before the Test series against England, Akram anticipated a 3-0 defeat due to the evident flaws in both batting and bowling, as he shared with a sports platform.
