Vigilance Operations Unfold in Bhubaneswar


Bhubaneswar: On Thursday, vigilance authorities executed coordinated searches at five different sites associated with Panchu Behera, the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) of the Water Resources Department, located near Bhanjanagar in the Ganjam district. This action was taken due to suspicions regarding his disproportionate assets.


The operation was conducted under the supervision of a Berhampur Vigilance special judge and involved a team comprising three Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), seven inspectors, and additional personnel.


The targeted locations included Behera's residence in Basant Vihar, government accommodations and his office in Bhanjanagar, his ancestral home in Polasara, and a relative's residence in Bima Nagar, Berhampur.
