Vidula Reddy earned a bronze medal in the Women’s Singles Advance category during the Indian Open 2026, a PWR 1000 event sanctioned by the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA), which took place at CrossCourts in Hyderabad on April 1. The event saw Rithika claiming the gold medal, while Khushi Sachdeva secured the silver.

In an interview with Pickleball Now, Vidula expressed her mixed feelings about the competition, stating, "I just won the bronze in the women’s singles category. It’s a bit bittersweet experience because I was playing really well and had some great wins. I had a fall in the semifinals which cost me a shot at gold by a very small margin. Still, I’m happy with my performance." She commended the event organizers for hosting an excellent tournament, adding, "The set-up is really great here in Hyderabad, and I can’t wait to return to the event."

The five-day Indian Open 2026 commenced on April 1 and is recognized as one of the largest pickleball tournaments in India, featuring over 1,100 participants across 54 categories, all competing for a prize pool of $50,000.
