Vaishnavi Lodhi Clinches Women's Singles Title at PWR50 Cup

Vaishnavi Lodhi delivered an outstanding performance at the PickleSpin PWR50 Cup, winning the Women's Singles 19+ title in Kanpur. She finished the tournament undefeated, showcasing her skills in every match. In the final, she defeated Kanushree Garg decisively, capping off a remarkable campaign. Vaishnavi's journey included strong victories in the group stage and semifinals, establishing her as a formidable player in the tournament. Vaishnavi Lodhi's Dominant Performance


On March 1, Vaishnavi Lodhi showcased an impressive performance to claim the Women’s Singles 19+ title at the PickleSpin PWR50 Cup held in Kanpur. She completed the tournament without a single loss, demonstrating her skill and determination throughout the event. In the final match, Vaishnavi triumphed over Kanushree Garg with scores of 11-7 and 11-2, securing her championship title at the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) sanctioned event. This victory highlighted her dominance, as she maintained control in every match leading up to the final.


Earlier in the day, Vaishnavi reached the finals after a hard-fought semifinal against Rashika Agarwal, winning 13-11, 11-9. Meanwhile, Kanushree advanced to the final by defeating Riya Bhargava decisively with scores of 11-0 and 11-2 in her semifinal.


Vaishnavi's journey began in the group stage, where she quickly established her prowess. Competing in Group 2, she started with a straight-game victory against Ishita Kanodia, winning 11-6, 11-3. She continued her winning streak by defeating Riya Bhargava in another straight-game match, this time with a score of 11-0, 11-6. Kanushree also had a strong performance leading up to the final, starting with an 11-5, 11-7 win over Vrinda Gupta and then overcoming Rashika Agarwal 11-8, 11-6.


Despite her impressive earlier performances, Kanushree could not overcome Vaishnavi in the championship match, ultimately finishing as the runner-up.
