The Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) has expressed its congratulations to Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, a promising young cricketer, for reaching a remarkable milestone in the Duleep Trophy. At just 15 years and 157 days old, Vaibhav has made history by becoming the youngest player to score a half-century in the tournament, breaking a record that stood for 57 years.

Vaibhav achieved his half-century in a mere 42 balls, surpassing the previous record held by Laxman Singh, who scored a half-century at the age of 16 years and 23 days back in 1969. Continuing his aggressive batting style, Vaibhav went on to score an impressive 92 runs off 81 balls, which included seven fours and seven sixes. He was dismissed just short of a century, finishing with 92 runs.
