Exciting Start to UPL 2026

The highly anticipated third season of the Uttarakhand Premier League (UPL) 2026 is set to commence with an electrifying men's match, featuring Haridwar Elmas against Nainital Tigers on September 22 at 7:30 PM. This event will take place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Raipur, Dehradun.

The tournament will showcase top men's and women's teams from across Uttarakhand, running until October 1.

UPL 2026 Match Schedule

The women's tournament will kick off the UPL 2026 on September 21, starting with Pithoragarh Hurricanes facing Dehradun Warriors at 11:00 AM, followed by Bageshwar Aerial competing against Mussoorie Queens at 3:00 PM. The men's matches will begin the next day, with Haridwar Elmas taking on Nainital Tigers at 7:30 PM. The second men's match will feature Pithoragarh Hurricanes against Tehri Titans on September 23, marking the start of the seven-team men's competition.

Fans can look forward to double-header days, ensuring a thrilling experience of T20 cricket as teams vie for a spot in the knockout rounds.

Teams Participating

The men's league will include teams such as Pithoragarh Hurricanes, USN Indians, Nainital Tigers, Rishikesh River Kings, Haridwar Elmas, Tehri Titans, and Dehradun Warriors. Each team has formed a squad featuring seasoned players, icon players, and promising Under-23 and Under-19 cricketers, following the Players' Draft held on September 16.

Shri Sunil Joshi, Chairperson of the Uttarakhand Premier League, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming season, stating, 'The announcement of the UPL 2026 schedule marks an exciting stage as we get ready for the third edition of the league. We hope the league provides an engaging platform for both established and emerging cricketers and gives fans an exciting month of T20 cricket.'

Knockout Stage and Finals

The league phase will feature men's double-header matches in the following days, with teams competing for advancement to the knockout stage. The Eliminator is set for September 30, leading up to the UPL 2026 Final on October 1.

The women's competition will include Mussoorie Queens, Bageshwar Aerial, Pithoragarh Hurricanes, and Dehradun Warriors, each led by notable icon players. The women's segment will conclude with the Final on September 24, following the opening matches on September 21.
