Born on September 16, 1989, in Chandigarh, Punjab, Amanpreet was a right-arm medium-fast bowler. He was part of the Indian Under-19 squad in 2007, sharing the field with notable players like Kohli, Jadeja, and Manish Pandey.


During the 2007 tri-nation U19 tournament held in Sri Lanka, he showcased his talent by taking nine wickets across five matches.


In total, Amanpreet played six First-Class matches, claiming 11 wickets with an average of 54.72.
