Traffic Delays Toss for West Indies vs England ODI at Kennington Oval

The third ODI between West Indies and England faced a toss delay due to the West Indies team being stuck in traffic. Originally set for 5:00 PM IST, the toss was postponed, and the match start time was also affected. With rain predicted, the situation at Kennington Oval remains uncertain. Stay tuned for further updates.

Toss Delay Due to Traffic Issues

The third One Day International (ODI) match between West Indies and England at the Kennington Oval in London experienced a delay in its toss. Contrary to expectations, the cause was not rain or a wet pitch, but rather the West Indies team being stuck in heavy city traffic, preventing them from reaching the venue on time.

The toss, originally scheduled for 5:00 PM IST (12:30 PM local time), was postponed due to the late arrival of the players. Consequently, the match, which was set to start at 5:30 PM IST (1:00 PM local), also faced delays.

Once the West Indies team finally made it to the stadium, a revised schedule was announced. The toss is now slated for 5:40 PM IST (1:10 PM local), with the match expected to kick off at 6:00 PM IST (1:30 PM local).

To complicate matters further, rain is forecasted. As the West Indies team traveled, the pitch was covered, and ominous clouds loomed over the stadium.
