According to the ICC, players who showcased their skills in the recently concluded five-match T20 series between India and South Africa have seen improvements in their rankings. India secured a 3-1 victory in this series.

In the decisive match played in Ahmedabad, the hosts amassed a total of 231 runs in their innings. Tilak Varma emerged as India's top scorer, hitting 73 runs off 42 balls, which helped him surpass Sri Lanka's Pathum Nissanka with a rating of 805 points, securing the third position. Dewald Brevis's quickfire 31 runs also elevated him to the 10th spot. Over the course of the series, Tilak scored 187 runs at an impressive average of 62.33 and a strike rate of 131.69, finishing as the leading run-scorer with two half-centuries, his highest score being 73.
