Notably, this win followed a streak of three consecutive defeats.


Conversely, the Gujarat Giants continued their disappointing performance, remaining at the bottom of the table with only one win out of eight matches this season, having lost five in a row.


PKL 2025: Telugu Titans Secure a Hard-Fought Win


Bharat Hooda and Vijay Malik were standout players for the Titans, scoring nine and seven points, respectively. Despite a strong effort from Mohammadreza Shadloui, who came on as a super-sub for the Giants, it wasn't enough to secure a win.


Malik initiated the scoring for the Titans with a point in the first raid, helping them quickly establish a 3-0 lead. The Giants responded with a successful raid from Visvanth V, but the Titans maintained control, leading 7-3 before the first-half timeout.


After the break, the Giants scored immediately, and Aryavardhan Navale's successful raid narrowed the gap to 5-7. However, the Titans responded effectively, and the Giants eventually leveled the score at 10-10 with contributions from Navale and Lucky Sharma.


The Titans regained the lead and went into halftime with a slight 12-10 advantage. The Giants started the second half strong, leveling the score at 12-12, with Shadloui making an immediate impact.
