After Punjab Kings chose to bowl first, Sunrisers Hyderabad set a formidable target of 235 runs for 4.

In response, Punjab Kings managed to score only 202 runs for 7 wickets, marking their third consecutive defeat and dropping them to second place.

Cooper Connolly fought valiantly for Punjab Kings, scoring an impressive 107 not out off 59 balls, featuring 7 fours and 8 sixes, but received little assistance from his teammates.
