As a local from Port Elizabeth, Stubbs has been with the Sunrisers since the league's beginning. Ahead of the season opener on January 17 in Gqeberha, Stubbs is hopeful for a large turnout. "It will be amazing. The excitement builds as we play warm-up games, and social media shows that people are eager to attend. I know the community will be excited for some sports action. Fans come from nearby towns, and the atmosphere is always lively in orange. If the weather cooperates, it should be a packed house, which will be fantastic," he stated.
