Former State Sports Minister Sardar Sandeep Singh expressed that Chief Minister Nayab Singh has presented a budget that aligns with public sentiments, benefiting various groups including farmers, women, employees, youth, and athletes. He emphasized that the establishment of new sports excellence centers at five universities in the state will significantly encourage sports.

Additionally, under the Mission Olympic Winning Future scheme, a budget allocation of ₹20 crore will provide athletes with essential facilities to achieve their goals. Sandeep Singh noted that initiatives such as increasing athletes' dietary allowances, offering loans up to ₹5 crore for medal-winning athletes to establish academies in their home districts, and launching the 'Khelo Haryana' app are commendable. He acknowledged that Chief Minister Nayab Saini is continuously working to promote sports, following the footsteps of former Chief Minister and Union Minister Manohar Lal.
