South Africa has announced its 15-member squad for the ICC Under-19 Men's Cricket World Cup 2026, with Muhammad Bulbulia as captain. South Africa has officially revealed its 15-member team for the ICC Under-19 Men's Cricket World Cup, as stated on the ICC's official platform.


Tournament Details

This prestigious tournament is set to occur in Namibia and Zimbabwe from January 15 to February 6, 2026. Following a strong performance in recent youth competitions, Muhammad Bulbulia has been appointed as the captain for this 16th edition.


South Africa U19 Squad

The squad includes: Muhammad Bulbulia (C), JJ Basson, Daniel Bosman, Corne Botha, Paul James, Enathi Khitshini Tembalethu, Michael Kruiskamp, Adnaan Lagadien, Bayanda Majola, Armaan Manack, Bandile Mbatha, Lethabo Phahlamohlaka, Jason Rowles, Ntandoyenkosi Soni, Jorich van Schalkwyk.


Group Draw and Preparations

In the tournament draw, South Africa finds itself in Group D, competing against the West Indies, Afghanistan, and Tanzania.


Prior to the World Cup, the Proteas will engage in three Youth ODIs against India at Willowmoore Park, Benoni, scheduled for January 5-7, 2026.
