Esterhuizen's Explosive Performance Leads to 187/4

Opting to bat first in this decisive encounter, South Africa got off to a solid start with Tony de Zorzi and Wiaan Mulder. The Kiwis struck early, with Zakaray Foulkes taking de Zorzi's wicket in the fourth over. Rubin Hermann (39 runs from 31 balls) and Mulder (31 runs from 21 balls) formed a partnership of 55 runs for the second wicket before Josh Clarkson dismissed Mulder. Connor Esterhuizen then took charge, scoring rapidly. He added 49 runs for the third wicket with Hermann and followed it up with a 61-run partnership for the fourth wicket with Dian Forrester, who scored 21 not out off 13 balls.
