Simran's Impressive Performance at the Asian Cup

Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], November 22: Emerging judoka Simran, currently honing her skills at the Vijayi Bharat Foundation (VBF), made a significant mark at the Hong Kong Senior Asian Cup 2025 by clinching a bronze medal in the Women’s -48kg category.


During her journey in the tournament, Simran reached the semi-finals but faced a challenging match against Hong Kong's Ho Lok Yi, who holds the 46th position in the world rankings. Despite her efforts, she was unable to advance to the finals.


However, she bounced back in the bronze medal bout, defeating Mongolia's Naranbayar Undrakhbayar to secure her spot on the podium.


Since 2024, VBF has played a crucial role in enhancing her technical abilities, competitive spirit, and physical fitness.


Coach Lal Krishan Baghel praised Simran's achievement, stating, “This accomplishment underscores her rising prominence in Asian judo and adds another proud chapter to VBF’s legacy in international events.”
