In a thrilling encounter on June 25, the Siliguri Strikers women's team achieved a remarkable seven-wicket victory against the Rashmi Medinipur Wizards during their sixth match in the Bengal Women’s Pro T20 League 2025.


Due to inclement weather, the second innings was shortened to 14 overs, with the Strikers needing to chase a revised target of 82 runs. They accomplished this with ease, finishing the innings in just 11.3 overs while losing three wickets.


The match commenced with the Rashmi Medinipur Wizards batting first, managing to score 110 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. However, rain interruptions led to a revised target under the Duckworth-Lewis method, requiring Siliguri to score 82 runs in 14 overs.


The Strikers' batting lineup displayed a commendable mix of confidence and aggression, successfully reaching the target.


Anindita Nath emerged as the star of the match for the Servotech Siliguri Strikers, contributing a solid 40 runs off 32 balls, which included three boundaries. Her outstanding performance earned her the Player of the Match title.


Nath's innings provided a strong base for the chase, while captain Priyanka Bala played a vital supporting role, remaining not out with 8 runs off 8 balls, guiding her team to victory.
