Semwal Takes the Lead in Round Two

Siddharth Semwal achieved an impressive second-round score of four-under 68, securing a two-shot advantage with a total of five-under 139 at the PGTI NexGen 2026 tournament held at the Golden Greens Golf and Country Club in Gurugram. Semwal, who is based in Delhi and started the day tied for 10th place, made a remarkable comeback with six birdies and two bogeys during his second round, establishing himself as the sole leader in this Rs 25 lakh event.


Arjunveer Shishir, with a score of 70, and Vishav Pratap Singh Gill, who scored 68, are tied for second place at three-under 141. Aryav Shah, who led after the first round, fell to tied fourth with a score of 74, bringing his total to two-under 142.


The cut was made for the top 38 players, set at five-over 149.
