SG Pipers Announce Leadership for HIL Season 2

On Wednesday, SG Pipers revealed their leadership team for the second season of the Hockey India League, entrusting the roles to two esteemed Olympians from India. Defender Jarmanpreet Singh has been appointed as the captain of the men's team, while Australian midfielder Ky Willott will serve as vice-captain. For the women's team, star forward Navneet Kaur continues as captain, with Kaitlin Nobbs from Australia stepping in as vice-captain for her inaugural season with the Pipers.


Performance Highlights

Last season, Jarmanpreet Singh distinguished himself as a key player for SG Pipers, contributing significantly to India's Asia Cup 2025 victory, showcasing his readiness to lead. Ky Willott also made a notable impact last season with his exceptional work ethic and ability to control the game, which has now earned him a formal leadership position. He recently played a pivotal role in Hockey Club Melbourne's Hockey One championship win.
