Farhan made history by becoming the first player to score two centuries in a single ICC Men's T20 World Cup, achieving this feat with a remarkable hundred against Sri Lanka during their last Super 8s match in Pallekele. This outstanding performance propelled him to second place in the T20I batting rankings, where he also set a new career-high rating.

Abhishek Sharma leads the T20I batting rankings with a 26-point margin over Sahibzada Farhan, who now has 848 rating points. Farhan's impressive tally of 383 runs at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup helped him surpass Phil Salt and narrow the gap with Sharma.

The conclusion of the Super 8s stage has led to notable changes in the rankings.
