Rishabh Pant's Charisma Shines Despite LSG's IPL Elimination

The Lucknow Super Giants have officially been knocked out of the playoffs for the 2025 Indian Premier League. Nevertheless, their captain, Rishabh Pant, continues to charm fans. A recent video circulating online shows a supporter at the airport offering an RCB cap for Pant to sign, which he did with enthusiasm.

While signing the cap, the fan inquired about Pant's prediction for the IPL trophy winner this season. Instead of naming a team, Pant cleverly turned the question back to the fan.

"Who do you think will?"

The fan confidently replied that Royal Challengers Bangalore would take the trophy, prompting a subtle smile from Pant as he walked away.

LSG's Struggles and RCB's Strong Position

Despite a robust batting lineup, LSG has faced significant setbacks due to injuries in their bowling department. They started the season strong but suffered a defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad by six wickets on May 19. Although they managed to bounce back with a victory over Gujarat Titans on May 22, it ultimately did not help their playoff chances. LSG triumphed over Gujarat Titans by 33 runs, thanks to Mitchell Marsh's explosive 117 runs and Nicholas Pooran's unbeaten 56. They set a formidable target of 235/2, while GT could only muster 202/9 despite Shahrukh Khan's 57 runs, with Will O’Rourke (3/27) and Ayush Badoni (2/4) leading the bowling attack in LSG's commanding win.

On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore, led by Rajat Patidar, is performing exceptionally well, currently sitting second on the points table with 17 points from 12 matches, just behind Gujarat Titans.

RCB is set to face LSG on May 27 in the final group stage match at the rescheduled Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.
