On Monday, June 2, Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell officially announced his retirement from One Day Internationals. Following suit, South African powerhouse Heinrich Klaasen has decided to retire from all three formats of cricket, a decision he shared via social media.


In his Instagram post, Klaasen expressed his sorrow, stating, 'This is a sad day for me as I have chosen to step away from international cricket.' He mentioned that it took considerable time for him to arrive at this decision, weighing what would be best for his and his family's future.
