Bengaluru: In a stellar display, pacer Rasikh Salam Dar claimed four wickets, leading Royal Challengers Bengaluru to a convincing five-wicket victory over Lucknow Super Giants during an IPL match on Wednesday.


Lucknow Super Giants struggled to build momentum after being put to bat first, with only Mitchell Marsh (40 runs off 32 balls) and Ayush Badoni (38 runs off 24 balls) making significant contributions. They were ultimately bowled out for a mere 146 runs, marking their lowest score of the season.


Alongside Rasikh, Bhuvneshwar Kumar (3 wickets for 27 runs) and Krunal Pandya (2 wickets for 38 runs) also played crucial roles, while Hazlewood added one wicket to the tally.


In response, RCB's chase was anchored by opener Virat Kohli, who scored 49 runs. Contributions from skipper Rajat Patidar (27 runs) and Jitesh Sharma (23 runs) helped RCB successfully chase down the target, finishing at 149 for 5 in just 15.1 overs.


For LSG, Prince Yadav (3 wickets for 32 runs) and Avesh Khan (2 wickets for 23 runs) were the standout bowlers.
