Excitement Builds in RCB Camp

The atmosphere in the Royal Challengers Bengaluru camp was electric as they prepared for the highly anticipated IPL 2025 final against Punjab Kings. A light-hearted video shared by the franchise in their "Bold Diaries" series showcased the team celebrating the birthdays of captain Rajat Patidar and mentor Dinesh Karthik. What started as a simple cake-cutting event quickly turned into a lively cake fight.

As the candles were blown out, the dressing room transformed into a playful battleground. Players dashed around, laughing and smearing cake on each other's faces. Patidar and Karthik were the main targets, but everyone ended up joining in on the fun.

A particularly amusing moment in the video featured England's Liam Livingstone humorously suggesting that Jitesh Sharma should cake Virat Kohli's face. Jitesh, clearly apprehensive, jokingly begged him not to do it, which sent everyone into fits of laughter and the moment quickly gained traction on social media.

RCB Aims for Their First IPL Title

Despite the fun, RCB is acutely aware of the formidable challenge ahead. They are set to face Punjab Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Tuesday in the IPL 2025 final. Having reached the finals four times previously, RCB is still in pursuit of their first championship title after finishing as runners-up in 2009, 2011, and 2016.

Captain Rajat Patidar led his team to a decisive victory against PBKS in Qualifier 1, where they bowled them out for just 101 runs and chased it down in a mere 10 overs. Patidar expressed the team's desire to win for their fans, especially for Virat Kohli, stating, "Virat has given everything over the years - this title will mean a lot to him."

Punjab Kings, on the other hand, are riding high after their thrilling win over Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 2. Shreyas Iyer delivered an outstanding performance, scoring an unbeaten 87 off 41 balls, and will be looking to avenge their earlier defeat against RCB while striving for their first IPL title.
