Ravi Bishnoi, the leg-spinner for Rajasthan Royals (RR), has credited the team's impressive start in IPL 2026 to a collective effort and a positive atmosphere in the dressing room. In a post-match interview on JioHotstar following their victory over Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Bishnoi expressed the team's satisfaction with their unbeaten record, having secured wins in all four matches and currently leading the points table. He emphasized that the team's success stems from contributions across the entire squad rather than individual performances.
"We are thrilled to have won all four matches and to be at the top of the table. We hope to maintain our current style of play," Bishnoi remarked. He highlighted that the Rajasthan Royals have been functioning as a cohesive unit, with various players stepping up at crucial moments during games. "Our performance is a team effort, not reliant on just one or two players," he added.
Bishnoi also noted the importance of strong batting starts, which he believes have allowed the team to finish matches decisively and sustain their momentum throughout the tournament. "The solid starts we are achieving with the bat enable us to conclude games swiftly," he stated.
Reflecting on the team's environment, Bishnoi pointed out that winning fosters confidence and a positive atmosphere. He also mentioned the benefits of having a youthful squad, stating that their similar age group facilitates better understanding and communication. "Most of us are in the same age bracket, which helps us connect and communicate effectively, making a substantial difference for our team."

In a thrilling match at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Royal Challengers Bengaluru managed to post a total of 201/8 after recovering from a shaky start against Rajasthan Royals. The match commenced after a rain delay, with RCB struggling at 62/4 and later 94/6, despite early breakthroughs from Jofra Archer and a brief innings from Virat Kohli. Captain Rajat Patidar steadied the innings with a solid 63 runs off 40 balls, while Venkatesh Iyer's unbeaten 29 off 15 balls provided a late surge, helping RCB surpass the 200-run mark.
However, Rajasthan Royals emerged victorious by six wickets, extending their unbeaten streak to four matches and handing RCB their first defeat of the season. Chasing a target of 202, RR's Sooryavanshi and Jurel formed a formidable partnership, amassing 108 runs together, which set the stage for a commanding chase.
