On July 15, tennis superstar Rafael Nadal extended his congratulations to Spain's national football team following their impressive 2-0 victory over France, which secured their spot in the FIFA World Cup final.

This marks only the second time Spain has reached the World Cup final, where they will compete against either Argentina or England at the New York New Jersey Stadium.

After the semifinal match, Nadal took to social media platform X to express his joy, posting a short congratulatory message.

Spain showcased a strong performance at Dallas Stadium, combining solid defense with effective finishing to earn their place in the final.

Mikel Oyarzabal scored the opening goal from a penalty, followed by Pedro Porro, who secured the win and was named Player of the Match for his outstanding display.

With this victory, Spain will face either England or Argentina in the World Cup final on Sunday. Their only previous final appearance was in 2010, where they triumphed over the Netherlands thanks to a goal from Andres Iniesta.

Oyarzabal's recent form has been remarkable, bringing his total to 18 goals in his last 20 matches for Spain. His penalty also marked him as the sixth player to reach 30 international goals for the national team, joining legends like David Villa and Raul.
