Dsouza had a strong performance in Group A, winning matches against competitors from Japan and Cambodia, which secured her place in the semifinals.

Semifinal Match Details

In the semifinal, Dsouza went up against Indonesia's Sumaya. The match was closely contested, with Dsouza winning the first set 12-7. However, Sumaya rallied back to win the next two sets, finishing the match with scores of 9-12 and 7-12.
