Priya's Triumph in Badminton Championship

Priya, a student from Dayanand Model Senior Secondary School in Dharamshala, has achieved a significant milestone by clinching the top position in the Under-15 Open Championship held by the Badminton District Association at the Indoor Stadium in Dharamshala. Along with her medal, she was awarded a cash prize of ₹3,100. Mrs. Meenakshi Gautam, the Principal, praised Priya as a rising star not just in Dharamshala but throughout Himachal Pradesh's badminton scene. Priya has already demonstrated her skills at various levels, including Zonal, District, and State competitions. Her outstanding performances in both singles and doubles events have distinguished her from her peers. Physical Education Teachers, Mr. Rajat Kumar and Mr. Kapil Kumar, express their confidence in her potential, believing she will one day achieve recognition on a global scale. During the morning assembly, the Principal honored Priya with the title of “Nanha Udan Pari” (Little Flying Fairy).
