Praful Hinge, known as the 'Fearless Prodigy' from Vidarbha, made a remarkable debut in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He achieved a historic feat by becoming the first bowler in IPL history to take three wickets in his very first over, leading to a dominant performance against Rajasthan Royals. The 24-year-old finished with four wickets and was awarded the Player of the Match title for his outstanding debut.

Hinge shared that his preparation for this IPL season has been primarily mental rather than physical. Thanks to Hinge's exceptional bowling, Sunrisers Hyderabad halted Rajasthan Royals' four-match winning streak in IPL 2026, securing a convincing 57-run victory in Hyderabad on Monday. Hinge, along with teammate Sakib Hussain, combined for eight wickets, dismantling the core of the Royals' batting lineup as they attempted to chase a target of 217 runs.


Current Standings and Upcoming Match

As it stands, Sunrisers Hyderabad is positioned fourth in the points table with two wins out of five matches. Their next challenge will be against Chennai Super Kings on Saturday at their home ground.
