She achieved this by defeating China's Li Shu with a unanimous decision of 5-0 in the semifinals held on Tuesday. Throughout the match, Parveen displayed remarkable composure, strategically waiting for the right moments to strike and consistently outscoring her opponent across all rounds, as reported by ESPN.

Despite Li's attempts to regain control, Parveen maintained her dominance, securing a decisive victory that earned her a place in the gold medal match. She is set to face Chen Nien-chin from Chinese Taipei in the final.

Shooting: Silver Medal for Women's Trap Team

China clinched the gold with a score of 346, while Kuwait took home the bronze with 325. Neeru, who excelled in the individual qualification, also progressed to the women's trap final, starting strong by hitting all five of her initial shots.

In archery, Kumkum Mohod advanced to the quarterfinals of the women's recurve individual event after defeating Bangladesh's Saima Salahuddin with a score of 6-0. She will face the top seed, South Korea's Kang Chae-young, in the quarterfinals on October 3. Kumkum will be the sole Indian representative in this round, as her compatriot Kirti Sharma was eliminated after losing 3-7 to Kang in the Round of 16.

Men's Recurve Quarterfinals

In the men's recurve individual category, India's Dhiraj Bommadevara and Neeraj Chauhan also advanced to the quarterfinals, winning their matches against Chinese Taipei's Cheng Hsiang-Hui (6-2) and South Korea's Kim Je-deok (6-4), respectively.
