Pakistan's Participation in Asia Cup Confirmed

According to a source from the Sports Ministry, Pakistan's hockey team will be allowed to participate in the upcoming Asia Cup scheduled to take place in India next month.


“We have no objections to any team participating in India for a multi-national event. However, bilateral competitions are a different matter,” the source clarified.


He further emphasized the importance of international sports, stating, “Even amidst the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, both nations still compete in multi-national tournaments.”


The Asia Cup is set to occur in Rajgir, Bihar, from August 27 to September 7.
