Marco Jansen played a pivotal role in South Africa's 2-1 series triumph over Australia in the ICC World Test Championship. His contributions with both bat and ball were significant, particularly in the second Test held in Gqeberha, where he scored 85 runs and took six wickets, leading to an innings and 31-run victory for his team. In the decisive third Test in Cape Town, he added another half-century and took three wickets, which propelled him to the top of the ICC Men's Test All-Rounder Rankings.

Arafat Minhas showcased his talent during the home ODI tri-series, playing a vital role in Pakistan's championship win. Over five matches, he accumulated 149 runs with an average of 29.80 and secured nine wickets at an average of 23.22.
