"Our team dynamics are excellent. Each player understands their role, which is crucial for our success. The synergy among us has been impressive. Notably, our middle and lower order haven't had to bat much, indicating that our top order is stepping up and performing well," he added.

Praise for Captain Ranjan

Dagar also commended captain Sarthak Ranjan for his outstanding batting performance. He remarked, "The way our captain is playing is remarkable. Having played alongside him since our Under-16 and Under-19 days, I've witnessed his growth both as a player and an individual. He truly deserves this chance."

Celebration Inspired by Pogba

Dagar, who achieved impressive bowling figures of 2/14 in four overs, shared the story behind his unique wicket celebration.

"It was inspired by Paul Pogba. When I first started following football, I admired his celebration style, so I decided to replicate it today."

Lions Limited to 146/7

Batting first, the West Delhi Lions managed to score 146 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs, thanks to a disciplined bowling performance from the Strikers. They began steadily, accumulating 36 runs for the first wicket, but the early dismissal of Ankit Kumar for 10 runs led to a batting collapse.

The Lions quickly found themselves at 59/5 as the Strikers consistently took wickets. However, Mayank Gusain and Sombir Sheokand formed a crucial partnership, adding 68 runs for the sixth wicket, aiding their team's recovery.

Sheokand scored 34 runs off 24 balls before being dismissed, while Gusain remained not out at 42 runs off 28 balls, helping the Lions reach a total of 146/7.

Dagar was the standout bowler for the Strikers, achieving excellent figures of 2/14 in his four overs.
