Nike Celebrates Ronaldo's Milestone Achievements

Lisbon: In a tribute to Cristiano Ronaldo's remarkable journey in football, Nike has introduced a unique pair of boots named the 'Gold Mercurial Superfly RGN'. This launch coincides with Ronaldo's recent achievement of becoming the first player to score in six different World Cups, a feat that sets a new benchmark in the sport.


According to reports, Ronaldo is set to wear these golden boots for the first time during Portugal's World Cup group stage match against Colombia this Sunday. As per the sports platform 'Footy Headlines', the boots showcase a striking metallic gold design complemented by white accents.


These special edition boots are crafted with a soft upper for enhanced ball control, Flywire technology for support, and a 3/4-length Air Zoom unit for comfort. Released globally on Wednesday, they are priced at $300, approximately ₹28,343. Notably, Ronaldo has a lifetime endorsement deal with Nike.

Portugal recently celebrated a significant victory in the World Cup group stage, defeating Uzbekistan 5-0, marking their first win in the tournament. This victory was a strong rebound for Roberto Martinez's squad after their initial draw against DR Congo.
