He stated, 'I had the opportunity to talk with Ancelotti, and he asked me: ‘Do you think Neymar should be called up?’' Lula responded, emphasizing that Neymar's physical fitness and desire to play are crucial factors.

Lula remarked, 'If he’s fit, he has the talent. What I need to know is whether he truly wants it.' He stressed that a player's reputation should not automatically secure a spot on the team. 'He can look at players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi, who are still contributing to their national teams, but he must prove himself on the field,' Lula added.
