New Indoor Pickleball Facility Opens in Roseville, Boosting Popularity
Exciting Developments in Pickleball
The surge in pickleball's popularity across the United States has received a significant boost with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art indoor facility in Roseville. This new venue, known as Pickleball Kingdom Roseville, spans 32,900 square feet and features 11 indoor courts, enabling players to engage in matches every day from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Equipped with modern amenities such as digital scoreboards, replay cameras, and a unique digital 'dink wall' for tracking player performance, the facility aims to enhance the playing experience. Co-owner Komal Saini shared that the inspiration for this franchise came from her husband's newfound passion for the sport. After he began playing a few years ago, he quickly fell in love with pickleball but found outdoor play challenging during the hot summer months.
Faced with limited indoor options, the couple decided to invest in a franchise along with partners Megan Cohill and Adam Sepulveda. Saini noted that securing the right location was their biggest challenge, but they were pleased with the construction process, which was completed ahead of schedule.
The community's response has been overwhelmingly positive since the opening day, surpassing their initial expectations. Saini remarked that their membership projections were conservative, yet the turnout was remarkable. The Roseville center has already set new records for the franchise network, marking it as the 30th franchise to open in the U.S. and achieving unprecedented success. This expansion highlights the growing appeal of pickleball, which has been rapidly gaining traction since the launch of its first franchise in 2022.
