Ranjith Kumar Ravichandran, a javelin enthusiast from Coimbatore, had taken to social media to share his aspiration of attending the NC Classic and requested Rs 2000 to assist with his travel expenses.

Recently, Chopra secured his second title at the 64th Ostrava Golden Spike event, triumphing in the javelin throw competition.
The reigning world champion, Neeraj, who is the only athlete to surpass the 85m mark, achieved a top throw of 85.29m, marking his 24th consecutive top-two finish. He continues to assert his dominance, having recently won the Paris Diamond League title with an impressive throw of 88.16m.
With his new coach Jan Zelenzy, the world record holder in men's javelin throw, Neeraj reached the 90m mark for the first time in his career, finishing second at the Doha Diamond League last month.
