Navy's Kiran Ankush Jadhav Clinches Gold
Kiran Ankush Jadhav from the Navy showcased remarkable skill and consistency to secure the gold medal in the Men's 10m Air Rifle final at the ongoing 68th National Shooting Championship at the MP State Shooting Academy. Jadhav achieved a score of 252.1, narrowly defeating Olympian Arjun Babuta, who took home the silver with a score of 251.4. Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, the reigning national champion in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions, completed the podium with a score of 229.8. Other competitors included Shahu Tushar Mane in fourth place with 209.3, followed by Himanshu (181.1), Ramayana Tomer (166.7), Onkar Vikas Waghamare (145.4), and Pradeep Singh (123.3).
10m Air Rifle Men Junior Final
In the Junior Men's 10m Air Rifle final, Gujarat's Mohammed Murtaza Vania delivered an impressive performance, winning the gold medal with a score of 254.3. West Bengal's Abhinav Shaw secured the silver with 251.6, while Onkar Vikas Waghamare earned the bronze with 230.1. Naraen Pranav from Karnataka finished fourth with 209 after a shoot-off against Onkar. Divyanshu Shailendra Dewangan (187.5) and Parth Mane (166.9) placed fifth and sixth, respectively, with Parth also exiting after a shoot-off. Uma Mahesh Maddineni (145.3) and Himanshu (123) rounded out the finalists.
10m Air Rifle Men Youth Final
Onkar Vikas Waghamare improved his performance in the Youth Men's 10m Air Rifle final, winning gold with a score of 250. He built a solid lead in the final shots, finishing just 0.3 points ahead of his teammate Naraen Pranav, who took silver. Tamil Nadu's Shakthivel Senthivel secured the bronze with 229.5. Parth Mane (208.2) finished fourth, followed by Abhinav Shaw (187.3) and Pritam Kendre (166.4), who exited after a shoot-off. Abishek Sekhar (145.2) and Ritesh Ravindra Ghule (123.1) were also among the finalists.

The medal ceremonies were attended by notable dignitaries. The competition at the Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy will continue on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, featuring the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event, with the first final scheduled to start at 12:45 PM.
