Mercedes Mone's Championship Triumph in Poland

Mercedes Mone has further expanded her impressive collection of championship belts by clinching two additional titles at a recent independent wrestling event in Poland. Her journey, dubbed "The Moné Train," continues as she travels across Europe, now boasting a total of eight championship belts.

Following a successful title defense of the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship against Safire Reed at the Summer Sizzler event, Mone headlined the Prime Time Wrestling's All About The Moné event in Koslow, Poland. In the main event, she faced Polish wrestler Diana Strong for the vacant PTW Women’s Championship and the BestYa Wrestling Women’s Championship in a high-stakes winner-takes-all match.

In a thrilling contest, Mone executed her signature Backstabber move before transitioning into the Statement Maker, compelling Strong to submit. This victory adds two more championships to her already impressive collection, bringing her total to eight belts from six different promotions across six countries. She is now just two titles shy of matching the record held by WCW cruiserweight legend Ultimo Dragon, who held ten belts simultaneously.

Mercedes Mone's Championship Titles

Mercedes Mone proudly showcased her status as "8 Belts Mone" on social media, echoing a famous pose of wrestling legend Ultimo Dragon. The titles she currently holds include:

– AEW TBS Championship

– Women’s Owen Hart Cup Championship

– CMLL Women’s Championship

– RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship (merged with SWE’s Queen of Southside Championship)

– EWA Women’s Championship

– BestYa Women’s Championship

– PTW Women’s Championship

Having won the TBS Title at last year's AEW Double or Nothing event, Mone has held onto this championship for over a year. At the latest All In Texas PPV, she challenged for the AEW Women’s World Championship, which is currently held by Toni Storm. Unfortunately for Mone, Storm retained her title, marking the end of Mone's winning streak.

Since her defeat, AEW has kept Mone off their television programming. The AEW Women’s World Championship remains the only title she has yet to capture since departing WWE in 2022, and she is determined to pursue it upon her return.
