Following her victory, Kostyuk is poised to ascend from her current ranking of No. 23 to a career-best No. 15 in the upcoming WTA rankings. This WTA 1000 title marks her third overall, positioning her as one of the top contenders for the upcoming French Open, set to commence on May 24 in Paris.

Earlier in the tournament, she defeated world No. 5 Jessica Pegula in the third round and only dropped one set throughout the event, which occurred against Anastasia Potapova in the semifinals.
