WTT Feeder Series 2026 Concludes in Vadodara

Vadodara (Gujarat) [India], January 12: In an exciting finale at the WTT Feeder Series 2026, local favorite Manush Shah and Korea's Ryu Hanna emerged victorious in their respective singles categories at the SAMA Indoor Sports Complex on Sunday.

This inaugural event, organized by the Table Tennis Association of Baroda and supported by the Sports Authority of Gujarat, showcased thrilling matches throughout the tournament.

Manush faced a challenging start in the men's singles final against Payas Jain, dropping the first two games. However, he rallied back to secure the title with scores of 7-11, 10-12, 11-6, 11-6, and 11-8.

In contrast, the women's singles final was dominated by Ryu, who decisively defeated qualifier Anusha with scores of 11-6, 11-6, and 11-5.

Ryu also claimed the women's doubles title alongside Yoo Yerin, overcoming India's top duo, Ayhika Mukherjee and Sutirtha Mukherjee, in a tightly contested match that ended 4-11, 11-9, 11-9, 4-11, 11-9.

Despite not winning the men's singles title, Payas Jain left Vadodara with two trophies. He first partnered with Syndrela Das to defeat the second-seeded pair of Harmeet Desai and Yashaswini Ghorpade in the mixed doubles final, winning 6-11, 11-9, 11-3, 11-6.

Jain then teamed up with Ankur Bhattacharjee to clinch the men's doubles title, beating Aakash Pal and Mudit Dani with scores of 12-10, 11-7, 7-11, 11-8.
