Lyra Valkyria Dominates WWE Raw Ahead of Evolution 2025 Title Match
Lyra Valkyria's Strong Showing on WWE Raw
The first-ever Women’s Intercontinental Champion is set to reclaim her title at WWE Evolution 2025. In a recent episode of WWE Raw, Lyra Valkyria showcased her strength by defeating two rivals in a triple-threat match, setting the stage for the upcoming premium live event.
Following weeks of escalating tension among the female competitors, a title match has been confirmed for WWE Evolution 2025. Becky Lynch will defend her Women’s Intercontinental Championship against both Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. The announcement was made via social media, prompting the champion to appear on Raw.
During the July 7 episode of Monday Night Raw, which took place at the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, Rhode Island, Becky Lynch expressed her frustration over facing two challengers she deemed unworthy of a title shot. She was visibly upset about the increased risk of losing her championship to either Bayley or Valkyria.

Before Lynch could elaborate on her grievances regarding the title match, Bayley entered the ring to confront her. Valkyria soon followed, declaring her intent to reclaim her title, which she described as being surrounded by chaos. Bayley expressed her belief that she could have been champion if not for Valkyria's interference two weeks prior.
The tension between Bayley and Valkyria escalated into a physical altercation. Valkyria attempted to strike Bayley but accidentally hit Lynch instead. The confrontation intensified, with Valkyria ultimately taking down both Bayley and Lynch using her signature move, the Night Wing, leaving a clear message ahead of WWE Evolution 2025.
