Lawyers Gear Up for Season 2 of India's First Pickleball League
Exciting Developments for the LawStrings Pickleball Premier League
Following the remarkable success of its inaugural season in 2025, the LawStrings Pickleball Premier League (LPPL) is preparing for its second season, set to take place on May 9-10 in South Delhi. This season promises to enhance the competitive spirit and community involvement among lawyers in New Delhi.
A notable highlight of this season is the introduction of India's first pickleball auction tailored specifically for legal professionals. This innovative approach will utilize a virtual points-based system for team selections, reminiscent of franchise sports leagues, thereby adding a strategic element to the traditionally recreational game.
The player auction is scheduled for May 3 at The Suryaa, where participating players and esteemed members of the legal community will gather. This event is anticipated to attract significant attention due to its unique format and the ownership it offers to participants.
The league will showcase eight prominent franchise owners from the legal sector, including:
- Amarjit Singh Chandhiok, Senior Advocate
- N. Hariharan, Senior Advocate, President, DHCBA
- S. Muralidhar, Senior Advocate
- Vivek Sood, Senior Advocate
- Navin Pahwa, Senior Advocate
- Amit Chadha, Senior Advocate
- Shrey Sharawat, Advocate, Member Executive, DHCBA
- Mohit Gupta, Advocate, Delhi High Court
These distinguished figures will not only participate in the auction but also lead their respective teams, adding credibility and a competitive edge to the league.
The LawStrings Pickleball Premier League is a pioneering initiative designed to foster fitness, well-being, and community engagement among legal professionals. By integrating sports with structured formats like auctions and franchise teams, LPPL is redefining interactions within the legal community. In a field often characterized by long hours and stress, such initiatives provide a much-needed outlet.
Shubham Malhotra, the Founder of LawStrings Management, expressed enthusiasm about the initiative, stating, “With LPPL Season 2, we are making significant strides in cultivating a culture of wellness and community among legal professionals. The launch of India’s first pickleball auction for lawyers embodies our commitment to innovate beyond traditional formats and create engaging platforms for our peers. We believe this season will be larger, more competitive, and will further enhance camaraderie within the legal ecosystem.”
