The tournament will commence at Colombo's Sinhalese Sports Club Cricket Ground, where the defending champions, Jaffna Kings, led by Sri Lanka's Bhanuka Rajapaksa and featuring Bangladesh's Shakib Al Hasan, will face Dasun Shanaka's Galle Gallants in an anticipated opening match.

Global Appeal and Local Engagement

The league's international appeal continues to rise, with over 650 registrations from players across 21 countries ahead of the player selection.
