At the Kolkata Open, David Murry and Kabinlo Kent stood out in the Beginner Men's Doubles category, securing the championship title during the PWR 400 tournament sanctioned by the Indian Pickleball Association on April 30. Their impressive performance throughout the competition showcased their skill and confidence, culminating in a decisive victory in the final.


In the championship match, they faced Kailash Kamat and Mayand Tewary, winning convincingly with a score of 11-2. This result highlighted their dominance on the court, as David and Kabinlo effectively controlled the rallies and maintained pressure on their opponents. Despite Kailash and Mayand's commendable journey to the final, they struggled to match the rhythm set by the eventual champions.


Earlier, David and Kabinlo secured their spot in the final with a solid 11-7 win against Dewesh and Kishan in the semifinals, demonstrating their ability to remain composed during critical moments. Meanwhile, Kailash and Mayand advanced to the final after a commanding 11-0 victory over Farid and Rahul, showcasing their own strong form.
