Sunrisers Hyderabad's Strong Start

Choosing to bat first, SRH began aggressively, spearheaded by Travis Head's explosive innings. The opener's rapid half-century helped SRH reach 71/1 within the first six overs. Head scored 61 runs off just 27 balls, hitting several boundaries and sixes, which set a solid foundation for the innings. However, the team faced an early setback with Abhishek Sharma dismissed for 15, bringing captain Ishan Kishan to the crease, who supported Head effectively.

KKR's Bowlers Turn the Tide

KKR's Varun Chakravarthy provided a crucial breakthrough by dismissing Head in the 9th over, which shifted the momentum. At that point, SRH was comfortably placed at 107/2.
