This significant achievement occurred during the third day's second session of the Test match against England, where Rahul amassed 100 runs off 177 deliveries, featuring 13 boundaries.

Joining an Elite Group of Indian Batsmen

With this century, KL Rahul now has four Test centuries in England, tying him for the second-most by an Indian alongside Rishabh Pant, Sachin Tendulkar, and Vengsarkar. The record for the most centuries in England by an Indian is held by Rahul Dravid, who scored six.

Rahul also leads among Indian and Asian openers in England with three centuries.

Dominance in SENA Nations

This century further solidifies Rahul's status as the Indian batter with the highest number of centuries in SENA (South Africa, England, New Zealand, and Australia) countries this decade, totaling five. Rishabh Pant follows with four, while Shubman Gill has three.
