KL Rahul's Remarkable Achievement at Old Trafford

The fourth Test match between India and England is currently taking place at Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester. After losing the toss, the Indian team opted to bat first. During this match, opener KL Rahul has reached a significant milestone against England. He has now joined the elite club of legendary Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar, becoming the second opener to score over a thousand runs in England.


KL Rahul is now the fifth batsman to achieve this feat in England, following in the footsteps of Sunil Gavaskar, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, and Virat Kohli. In the ongoing Test series against England, Rahul has amassed over 400 runs, including two centuries. Overall, he has scored 1,029 runs in 13 Tests in England, with four centuries and two half-centuries to his name. In comparison, Sachin Tendulkar scored 1,575 runs in 17 Tests in England, while Rahul Dravid has 1,376 runs in 13 Tests, and Sunil Gavaskar made 1,152 runs in 16 Tests.
