On Sunday, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) organized a fan meet-up at the ITC Grand Chola in Chennai, gathering enthusiastic supporters in anticipation of their IPL 2026 match against the Chennai Super Kings scheduled for April 14.


The event featured a lively gathering filled with entertaining games and interactive activities, fostering a sense of community among KKR fans in Chennai.


A highlight of the evening was the surprise appearance of KKR player Rahul Tripathi, who engaged with fans, took photos, and contributed to the overall excitement of the event.

Thrilling Match Outcome Against LSG

In another development, the Lucknow Super Giants narrowly defeated the Kolkata Knight Riders by three wickets in a nail-biting finish at Eden Gardens, successfully chasing down a target of 182 runs in IPL 2026.


Key contributions came from Ayush Badoni, who scored 54 runs, and Mukul Choudhary, who also made 54 not out, with Choudhary's explosive finishing play sealing the victory in the final moments of the match.


CricViz reported that the unbeaten partnership of 54 runs between Mukul Choudhary and Avesh Khan marked the highest for the 8th wicket or lower in a successful IPL chase.


Mukul played a pivotal role, scoring 52 of those runs, while Avesh contributed with a score of 1*(3) from the other end.


Earlier, KKR set a total of 181/4, thanks to solid performances from Ajinkya Rahane (41), Angkrish Raghuvanshi (45), and a late surge from Rovman Powell and Cameron Green. Despite the KKR bowlers delivering tight spells, LSG kept their composure to secure the win.
