Jurgen Klopp's Agent Refutes Roma Coaching Speculations
Agent Denies Roma Coaching Rumors
Marc Kosicke, the representative of famed coach Jurgen Klopp, has firmly rejected claims suggesting his client is in talks for the head coaching role at AS Roma.
On Tuesday, Italian publication La Stampa reported that Klopp had reached a verbal agreement to take over as Roma's head coach following Claudio Ranieri's departure at the conclusion of the 2024-25 season. The article also mentioned that Klopp had begun discussions regarding potential player acquisitions for the Stadio Olimpico.
Kosicke quickly countered these assertions, stating, "This news is not true," in a concise statement.
Currently, Klopp is engaged as the head of global soccer for Red Bull after leaving Liverpool at the end of the 2023-24 season. His five-year contract, effective from January 1, 2025, extends until 2030.
Red Bull's soccer network encompasses clubs such as RB Leipzig, RB Salzburg, New York Red Bulls, and RB Bragantino, along with investments in Leeds United and Paris FC. Furthermore, Red Bull announced a sponsorship deal with Atletico Madrid in January 2025.
Throughout his nine years at Liverpool, Klopp enjoyed remarkable success, securing every major trophy, including the Champions League and the Premier League title, marking the Reds' first league title in the Premier League era.
